hey guysi saw alot of people in the maita world have this, so i was wondering who might be interested if the price is right (low lol).

bascailly, its just a pipe that goes from the intake mani to the thermostat outlet, kinda of a spcaer, so you can put your aftermarket temp gaue sender in there, have it be accurate, and keep the stock sender.

my friend just got a job at a machins shop so im going to ask him about it.

There is a very simple solution to this... get a piece of 1.5" diameter pipe that is about 3" long. Weld a bung into it for the sending unit, cut the hose where you want it to go, and insert the pipe. A solution for less than $10 parts and labor.

thats not as accurate.they already make those.

for people that want stock gauge also, and very accurate aftermakrt one working together.

im giving a thermostat outlet to the guy this weekend, then ima test fit it and see how it works, then you guys can order it through him.

id be interested if u could rig one up for sr's too. i was going to get the rad hose with the bung, but it would be nice to keep factory temp working.

wheres the best place to put an aftermarket temp gauge.. and why is it so unaccurate?? what if u put it in the lower rad hose?? or should it be in line with the thermostat..?

lower rad hose would be the worst place to put it. if its on the other side of the thermostat, after it, its not always reading coolant flowing directly out of your engine when its closed. putting it before the thermostat will read the most precisely and constanly be getting readings from the coolant directly in your engine.
