im trying to do some basic research and im having a hard time finding what i think would be easy answers. i thought i saw a "basic upgrades"ish thread for sr20's but i cant seem to find it, if i did see it that is.
i was looking for info on the n62, n60, s13 sr20, s14 sr20, and ka mafs. (size, hp max, what years avail on cars, etc..)
i did come across some info but i was wondering if anyone with more experiance could take time and make a basic upgrade type sticky with just the basic bolt on upgrades. im mainly looking for sr20 upgrades but by having one thread for all the engines would be very helpful, if not have a general turbo engine thread that covers all the engine's at once.
possible future stickys?

When others make how to's and post info we try to get it in the ultimate sticky. Now we wont make this info for you, nor is maf changes something without a tuning device. And its something stand alone boost cars usually do without.

Most of our engine sub-forums have threads like what you're looking for. I know it's not conducive for one stop shopping, but we do need to generate traffic in each sub-forum. I know I have the RWD SR FAQ in the RWD SR forum that has a bit of what you're looking for. I don't believe I have anything on the n60 MAF, but I could be inclined to google up some numbers and get you what you want for my neck of the woods.

phac, i know about the moderators putting all how to's and what not into the ultimate sticky. also i didnt ask for this information personally and i know that you cant just throw a maf on a car and call it good. im not sure if you misread my post but basically i was making a suggestion about making a "basic upgrades" thread. thats it no more or less. if its not a great suggestion sorry just throwing it out there.
hijacker, i was searching through the rwdsr20 thread and thats where i got the little info that i did (how to wire, hp max on each, needs tuning via piggy ecu/ecu tune) but i was just thinking, like i posted above, just the basic upgrades for turbo'd engines. like fmic (could break it down as to which pipe to put bov on and why), injectors (maybe what they flow, max hp), etc. or i guess more a less just one thread with just max hp expected, flow/size etc.. of the items.
im not great with wording, its been a major curse for me, but if you can understand what im getting at it would definetly cut down (hopefully) on these "what would i get if i add?" or " whats a good combo for xx engine if i want these results"
