Possible Fix For Auto Climate Control

Ever had the issue where the auto climate control only gives either full cold or full heat? After researching the issue; the first answer was always: replace the sensor. I was about to do that, and while looking for the round grated hole where the cabin air gets sucked into the sensor, I shined the flashlight into it and discovered lots of lint behind the grate. A light came on in my head...vacuum! I held the hose over the sensor grate and turned the vacuum on for 10 seconds. Started my Pathfinder and the climate control was working. It's been 3 months with no issues. The lint must have been preventing the little blower fan in there from turning.
