Possible fix for 1994 240 sx automatic problems

I discoverd the other day while driving when the transmission did its thing and failed to shift properly. I moved amd twisted the centar gera shift handle where the overdrive on off button is located and it shifted no problem.

I have yet to take apart but i suspect a loose fraid or poor connection in the wires there.
