Possible firewall access?

Hey guys,

Trying to install an alarm into my '89 s13 hatch. Looking around for a good place to run wires thru the firewall and came across a length of hose coming out of the passenger side firewall bent down with nothing attached to it:

Does this go all the way through to the passenger compartment? If so, can anyone tell me where to find the place where it comes through? Thanks!

The AC drain hose.

There are several plugs on the drives side that you can pass wires through

the easiest one to access on the driver's side is the grommet for the hood latch release cable.
