Josh, there are a couple of us in Hawaii who want to get them but are concerned about shipping costs. Do you have a rough guesstimate as to how much it would be to ship to 96706 or 96818? I know UPS/FedEX is going to be outrageous ($80+) so I was wondering if shipping via USPS Priority would be possible? I know shipping a 20lbs box via Priority from Georgia runs about $24 or so. Thanks.

It's hard to pinpoint because we don't have weights/dimensions on those items, so it's hard to get the shipping quote.

That being said, I had Margaret pull a couple of options, and it's looking like USPS will run somewhere around $50-60 (for 35-45lbs). Once we confirm the exact specs, we'll be able to nail it down.

We do not normally ship USPS, there is a lot more paperwork involved, but for you guys we would be willing to accommodate.

Initial UPS shipping is looking just over $100 for those same weights, so that would definitely be some good savings.

thanks alot josh. if it wasnt for you no one would have answered my question. after this most likely i will get the springs for my car too once they come out =)

Josh, can you guys work out a deal for us Socal folks picking up from your facility? I mean, it sucks to have to pay tax already and not get any sort of discounts for picking it up. I went to pick up my exhaust, it woulda cost you guys quite a bit to ship that.

Just got the call from Eibach. They want the car on Wednesday and they will be done with it on Friday. They said this is the last install they need to do to gather the rest of the info they need before they release the springs. Shouldn't be long before they are in production

Hey kyle, would you also go through the extra hassle to get me shipping via USPS to Canada? It would probably save me 20$ or so, which would make me a for sure on the pro kit buy.

Thanks!

I'm definitely interested, even though I'd like to get an exhaust group buy together first, but I'll take what I can get

Could someone please give some more detailed on the differences between the Pro and Sportline kits? Since Josh said that the Sportline kit will take much longer until it comes out it looks like this will be a Pro Kit Group Buy anyway, but I'd still like to learn more about the different springs before I make my decision.

Ah, who am I kidding, sign me up

Hey, thanks for the link, LBC. I didn't know such a site existed. Unfortunately, it quoted me a price I already knew. USPS is always the cheapest way to go.

Thanks johnny_d, I can read the description as well

What I was looking for was something more along the lines of if you get the sportline springs at 75mph it'll feel like being on a vibrator bed (not that I would know what that feels like ) or that the proline kit won't have your girlfriend complain about the ride stiffness (not that she ever does )

You know, some "real life" experience to help make up my mind. My main argument for now is that I'd have to wait longer for the sportline kit.

I had Pro-Kit on my old B13 SE-R and Sportline on my old S13 so I can speak from experience. The Pro-Kit will be the closest to "factory" ride you can get from any aftermarket spring manufacturer out there. They were designed to work specifically with your stock suspension parts, as to not interfere with the integrity of your entire sus set-up. The Sportline on the other hand, is basically a streetable race spring. There will be a lot of bouncing and jarring compared to the PK, but they do look good with the 1.8"-2" drop they usually come in. It's a matter a preference. I, for one, prefer the feel of the PK's over the SL's.

I lived in LA and I can tell you for a fact that the none of the roads there can even compare to the roads here. Honolulu is the pothole capitol of the US.
