To all NICO members in the Atlanta area, we are thinking of offering a DYNO day for the club. We wanted to get a feel if there was any interest out there for that. We have an DYNOJET inground chassis dyno that will measure up to 1200 whp and 200mph. Dyno measures power, torque, and air/fuel ratios. Full data logging is available on request. There is 10+ years of dyno tuning experience on hand. We have done everything from q45 upgrades to Skyline work and the popular ser20det swaps. Resources are endless at our facility. Our employee experience ranges from over 25 years of combined technical experience to 20+ years of combined racing experience. More posts later on upcoming track days and events.

It would be worth it just to go and see the Z in the showroom. did all those guys get back from whatever competition they went to earlier?

I've been there! Very clean shop. I will probably try to come if you get a date set up. My car has a blown motor though right now, so I will just be going to watch, unless it's fixed by then.

Hehe...I could always dyno the 210 :) See if I can break 50 rwhp ;)

We will set a date if we can 10 or more people to commit. It would be on a saturday in Feb. The other thing you guys may want to keep in mind is little Talladega. We have a few clubs coming out and are looking for people that would like to go with BPM. There will be a SCCA driver that we work with out there for pointers and tips. The track is appx 1.5 mile, 11 turn road course. This is on March 29th. The GA. Z club and MB Autowerks will be out there. Thanks for the input.

I would love to come, but not going to be able to make it in Feb. Currently installing a standalone and will need to get to a dyno before driving it that far. If you guys do it anytime at the end of March or later, you can most likely count me in.

i've never been there, but very much would like to see your establishment. i've talked to you guys before about doing some work on my J30, but the drive is inconvienent for me. if i had an unlimited bank account i would be there for sure. heck, i'd move in!

Chris;

The date is not set in stone. We would be happy to find the best date for everybody. I will just keep checking to see what dates are the best for everybody. If you need any help in tuning after the standalone give us a call, we will be happy to help. Right now we are tuning a Supra that we are getting 606 hp out of. It's not done yet!!!!

Mayhem,

it's not the bank account, or the drive to worry about. there are different options that are available. heck i'm in KY usually once a month and would be happy to help at times.

well when i mention unlimited bank account i'm talking about paying for work to be done on my motor while there. it takes $$ to make the wimpy J30 not so wimpy. i currently can't afford 'the best' (BPM) working on my car right now....but one day.

Yeah, if the date is anytime in February, you can probably count me out for dynoing. I have no job right now, so a dyno run is an unneeded strain on the wallet. But hey, if I find a job before then, then maybe. Either way I'll be there to hang out/watch as long as the date is not too inconvenient.
