I was out driving the other day, and noticed I wasn't holding peak boost like I usually do. The gauge would climb and hit 13 psi, and then as fast as it climbed, it would fall to around 8. I've checked all my lines, and nothing has developed a leak.

So now, I'm down to two possibilities. My diverter valve or my wastegate actuator. I'm leaning towards the DV because for a while, when you were boosting around 14 PSI, the valve would squeak when the throttle plate would start to close. Now it will sometimes squeak under acceleration, leading me to believe that the diaphragm is busted. But I've never heard of a broken DV causing the boosting symptoms I'm seeing.

I'm hoping that it's the DV at least, cause if an HKS wastegate actuator broke, then I don't think I can trust the stock unit to hold when I pick up a real boost controller.
