I was having trouble a few weeks back where my trunk would pop open as im going down the road. When i would stop to shut it, you could hear the motor clicking like it was still trying to release the hatch. I jiggled the button above the license plate and havent had that problem again. Now, my driver side window will get stuck in either the up or down position. Sometimes this only lasts for a few minutes, sometimes hours. Its gettjng to the point that i no longer want to use my window because im afraid its going to permanently get stuck like that. I'm pretty sure its the BCM going out, just cause its a 10 year old car. Unfortunatly, BCM's are fairly expensive ($350ish for brand new or $100ish for used). Also, im not 100% positive that it is the BCM. Nissan wanted to charge me $150 just to test for it. If it truely is the BCM, is it better to go used or new?

The windows drive units are known to fail. If the hatch problem has not repeated after you jiggled the outside switch, I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that the two issued have a single cause.
