Hey guys, I've been reading searched posts for about an hour and haven't found a thread with a similar problem.

So, I replaced the fuel pump in my s13 today w/ a walbro one. The pump works fine, but it keeps flowing and never stops when i turn the power on. I can hear the fuel rushing through the fuel rail, so I guess it's not building up pressure because the FPR is bad? Is it possible that the FPR could be stuck open?

you could go out and crank the car then unplug the vac line. once you remove or or reinstall the vac line you should here a difference in the rpm(sound) of the engine. You might not be able to control that walbro's flow with stock regulator.

Ok, well I forgot to mention that the engine doesn't run. It stopped running when the fuel pump went bad. Then, I installed the high flow fuel pump and im guessing either the stock FPR can't take it, or the car is running rich? (i'll check to see if its wet as hell w/ fuel inside the cylinders on sunday im busy today).

So yea, I'm thinkin i need an aftermarket FPR, preferably one that would work for turbo and non turbo cars since I would like the option of building up my ka to ka-T someday.

Thanks for ur help, if you've got anymore thoughts feel free I'm all ears!
