Hi all, we are looking at possibly purchasing a 2002 Sentra GXE (from a dealer) with a broken driver's window. My husband drove the car, says it's in great condition (121K mi) except for the window and a torn seatbelt. The problem is that he can't tell if the window is just stuck down or possibly the motor. Maybe the glass is not even there? There is no glass above the door frame. The dealer won't lower the price ($2000). Is it worth a shot? Our budget has been stretched, and we didn't want to go higher than $2k for a car (for our daughter). But it's been difficult finding one that's been well taken care of. My husband is handy, could handle taking off the door, replacing a motor if that's all it is. Oh, and this car was in an accident 5 yrs ago, but I don't think the last owner drove that long w/o a window!
Thanks for any help/ideas!
