Which models? Y34 or Y50? G50, FGY33 or F50?

Q a little more luxurious. All the later ones have the VK45DE or VQ35DE (2006+ M35). Read the post on how to buy a Q45, as it appliesto some extent to all Infiniti cars. Best advice, obtain the Infiniti dealer performed service history first and have it inspected by a Senior Infiniti Technican before you buy.

Remember the Service Department is a separate profit center from the USED CAR department, so in theory who ever pays for the inspection gets the most useful information.

Force the Service Manager to be ethical, agree on cost, pay the charges, then spring it on them that the vehicle in question is on their own USED LOT.

Don't fall for all our vehicles are inspected show me the technican written report, arrange for me to speak with him, will he/you take a lie detector test.............the salesman will run away screaming it you can pull this off.

AS IS is AS IS and buyer beware is the mantra..............never take things at face value get every promise in writing.

Every USED CAR being sold has some problem [especially LEASED, repos and demos [except the owners and service managers]....only those do they get right on immediately............the salesmen can wait.

Remember each division is a separate company occupying the same piece of ground.

Car sold by independents are usually more defective than tradeins to dealers, the poor ones get sent to the auction immediately or are sold to other independent lots. The USED CAR DIVISON is the most profitable more than the new car lot.

Well, let's see here, he said "an 03 M45 or Q45" so I'm gonna assume he's talking about an 03. Myself, I'd take the M45. The F50 Q is a nice, and more luxurious car, but the M45 is just bad aise, and plenty luxurious enough. IMO, the 03-04 M45 is one of the most distinctive rides on the road. Do a few mods to it, and no one has a clue what it even is.
