Possessed car?

alright. i did the sleepy eye mod that was posted on here (cutting the brown wire behind the switch). now after i did that i was watching a movie in my house and i looked out the window only to see the lights on my car flashing on and off. it looked like my hazards were on. so i go out there and and press the hazard light button only for it to keep doing it. so i called a friend and he told me to disconnect the battery for 30 seconds. did that. the blinking stopped. on my way back in i notice my lights coming from off to on again. the were off, then turned on dimely, then started blinking. now..before i did this mod my lights did this once. and i turned the car on and it stopped. so im not sure if this is the mod or what. anyways. any help would be great.

Sounds like a demon possession that has caused a short somewhere. Now if the blinking continued after you disconnected the batt. I'd say call an excerist, but if not, you've got to find the short. First make sure that brown wire you just cut isn't shorting to anything else. But since you said it has done it before, that means there's a short somewhere different.

did your car used to have an alarm? might be something you'd want to look into. old alarms come back from the dead!

it is the green wire not the brown one. That might be the problem.

i did the same mod to my s13 and have no problems...... when i cut the brown wire i capped it off at both ends to make sure it didn't get the chance to short anything out.

Well I did the green one and I have had no problems with it at all. So I guess we are both right.

well...it turned out there was a little 12 yr old girl living in my car...well...she was the car. so i hired over a priest and he fixed everything. but he told me to keep a switch to the off position. after he left i looked at it and it was the alarm switch.
