I am sorry, I know that in your common problems post this was listed there. But I am not sure if this pertains to me. And I know almost nothing about imports. I have always stuck with domestic. My wife has an 1991 Infiniti G20 and she is having fuel delivery problems. She said she shut the car off to run into the house and came out and it would not start. It was running great prior to her shutting it off. Her stepfather came over to change the fuel filter, we were trying to start simple. When that did not work, he checked to insure it was getting fuel. And found there was not fuel getting to the filter. I do not know if it is the pump, a relay or just a circuit breaker. I am in the military and overseas, so I can not be there to fix it and it is driving me nuts. Especially since she is driving my Mustang untill we get it fixed. And she is not good at driving a manual. Please any help will be greately appreciated.

The fuel pump is a relative easy fix. The back seat will need to be taken out so access can be gained to the pump location. The only attention to detail is the o-ring that goes around the top of the latch. Once you take it off, it normally doesn't fit right if you re use it. If need be, you can just cut the o-ring to make it fit properly. Just make sure they unhook the battery and be very very careful when sticking your hand down in the tank... the edges are sharp.

Thank you for the reply. I am having her change the relay first. She found it and checked it, and cannot determine if it is getting power to the pump. Since it is only a $20 part I am going to have her get a new one. I am trying to change the cheap parts first. After this the only thing left is the fuel pump, i think.

I hate the fact I am not there to do this, and she has to do it mostely on her own. She has little knolwedge of working on cars, but she is eager to learn and seems to be capable.

I have passed on you words to her, and I thank you again!

IYAABYAS!
