I recently purchased one of the ebay manifolds from SSautochrome and i was slotting between the runners at work when i decided to check the gasket to see how well the ports lined up. Well i used some dykem and painted the manifold , after pulling back the gasket the is alot of material i could remove. Now I'm not talking about porting to full Dia. all the way back but i could easy the obstruction by at least creating a transition angle. Im not sayin it'll make 10 horses but has anyone else tried?I will do as little as possible to try to retain the strength of the flange but for 200 bucks i can stand the loss if it breaks

I would not hesitate to radius that edge...just round it off all the way around each port. Is that what you are talking about? Supa...I doub't the warranty covers modifications ;)
