Porting and polishing, anybody know someone that does it??

I'm doin a KA24DET setup and want to get the head ported and polished. Anybody know of someone that does this?? Can't find anybody.

There are a ton of companies that do it, whats your price cap?

Ummm....as far as I know, most maching shops do it. I know for a fact Sunbelt does it and they supposedly do a good job.

Kinda off to the side, but does anybody remember the link or the heading of the thread that had the tons of info on porting and polishing? It was either under ka-t or the na ka boards, searched both and couldn't come up with it. getting a spare engine next week and wanted to freshen up on how to do it myself.

I already did the intake manifold myself and just wanted to see how much it costs to get the head done. If the price is right than I'll have someone else do it. I don't mind doin it myself though.

I'm in southeast Kansas and I had Pat Tucker do mine. He took over a month and a half and it didn't look perfect but pretty decent. He only charged me $125. He's not scared to touch any motor though.
