I have to rebuild my turbo since it is burning oil(i did not get my restrictor on time) and some guy told me that he can rebuild it and port it for $100 if i get the parts. I am buying the ebay rebuild package, and i am pretty sure that i can do it by myself do you think is it worth it to pay the 100 for the porting, one problem that i see is that he will not give me any warranty.

So what do you guys think? Also where else can i buy the rebuild kit or is it ebay's good?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVWI am getting this one. Thanks for any input

You should ask him exactly what he will be doing when porting. Smoothing out some of the peaks and valleys would be okay. Perhaps an extrude hone afterwards. Particularly on the turbine. You won't see as much gain on the compressor side.
