Portable wheel balancer?

hey guys, i was thinking about getting one. question is how good/accurate are they? i already have a portable tire changer, its perdy easy with average tires, so i guess im satisfied with it.

oh its made by central machinery @ harbor freight for $49

hhhh...i forgot i made this post, its so lonely. so anybody familiar with it? my teachers never taught me how to use one, i think it was called a bubble wheel balancer, i dunno if its similar to the one on harbor frieght

The idea behind the several thousand dollar machines in tire shops is to provide a level of accuracy not found on bubble balancing.

It's old tech but still works to an extent, the idea is at least going in the right direction. If you want one, get it and try it out, but i suggest you remove all the wheel weights from all your wheels, test drive as is, and report if you notice any difference to begin with. Some people will notice a change, some people have bad tires/wheels that are already out of round or out of balance, some people will notice nothing.

If you notice no change whatsoever... then i have no advice.
