ok, if i were to find and buy a cylinder head from a ka24e from an auto wreckers, could i substantially enlarge the valves and hone them down with a die grinder and polisher? to me this seems like it would be an easy cheap way to do a port/ploish. If so, how hard would it then be to sway cylinder heads? is it just a matter of taking the valve cover off, taking out the cylinder head bolts, lifting it off, swapping gaskets, and then putting it all back together using a torque wrench? thanks guys

port and polish is just reshaping the ports an polising them for smooth flow, you are talking about oversized valves. Talk to your local machine shop to see what your options are.
