port and polishing head

hey i was talking to my buddy and he stands by porting and polishing the head. he is a mustang guy and i was just wondering what kinda benefit i would be looking at by doing it. i have a redtop sr with all the basics. (z32 MAF s15 480 injectors. hks gt2510 , fmic full 3" turbo back. and everything you get before you do that stuff). also i know prices are dif depending on where you go and where you live, but does anyone know a ballpark range? thanks for the help in advance. I couldn't give you a price, but it is definately worth it for any car, especially an older car.

you could spend 3-$800 and just becuase its a $800 port job doesnt mean its a good job. But if you have the head off do it.~Sam
