Ok everyone. . . I'm actually port and polishing my sr head this week and while I was taking out the valve seat that needs to be taken out with a magnet, I lost it I don't know where I could source one of these. If anyone has any info please let me know. I was told not to lose these and of course with my luck, i did. Thanks

I think my prof might be playin a nasty joke on me cause He showed me how to get them out and the one he took out is the one that is missing. So maybe he just heisted it and was laughin while i was on the ground in filth looking under benches and under grimey water grates.

If everything else fails, you can always contact Nissan Japan or Nissan in the UK and order a set of valve seats, since the SR was a standard engine there and they probably have parts for it.

Or just go to your local nissan dealership and order the seats for a early 90's ser sentra with the sr20de. I'm not 100% sure they are the same but it will only take a few min with a micrometer(sp) to make sure they are.

Can anyone confirm that the sr20de from the sentra has the same size intake valve seats as the det???

You hand ported them? Or do you use some sort or axis or CNC? Hand porting is tricky because of the flow rates differences.
