Port and Polish

Is it worth the money, I am going to put cams in my motor and while I was there I thinking of getting it done? Does anyone know of the power gains from and about what it cost.

on freshalloy, enthalpy put a ported and polished head on after dyno tuning his built engien making around 360whp at 13psi. The ported head only made mild powerband differences, no increase in power with no other changes to original build.

He was using JWT C1 cams, new springs 9.0:1 compression, intake and exhaust manifolds upgraded and all, but no actual power upgrades from the P&P.
