port and polish sohc ka HELP!!!!

HELP!!!! ive got a rebuilt sohc head and im in tech school ( auto tech) and have the tools to do a port and polish and grind the valves and what not, i was just wondering if any one has done this b4, if so any information would be appriciated. my plans are for a kae-t. so helping flow would lower spool time, and should you polish both the intake and the exhaust. any extra info about what i should do while i have the head off to prepare for turbo, i plan on only about 200-230 whp for now on stock internals, i know its not much but i dont want a 300whp daily driver. thanks

do a search in the KA forum. theres plenty of old posts in there on port & polish work. good luck.

DO NOT polish the intake side. the rough interior on the intake side is designed to help the fuel atomize with the air. use a flowbench. its the only to get your exhaust sides as close as possible. if u dont have one, u can gasket match it, but id rather it be accurate.
