Popping or clicking from front left.

About the car

1994 Q45a120,000 Milots of new parts.

No new work on suspension..

I just notice a clicking or popping sound coming from the front right wheel.it clicks when you take off or back up... and only for a few seconds..

At work can't write that much ..let me know if more info is needed.

It clicks once per tire revolution, or because the car is rocking? I would suspect brakes or upper link.

Its when the car seems to be rocking.

It is not constant it only seems to happen while backing up or taking off

Try rocking the car up and down while parked. Have someone sit inside and listen if necessary.

I would also ask about the shim kits the last time the front pads were replaced. May be unrealted, but maybe not.

Hey GreenCheck for a small stone stuck in the tyre tread or maybe it could be a nail stuck in your tyre. Pull the wheel off and have a real good look.

While car was parked and off I rocked it FWD and BKWD and could not hear it.

I was thinking brakes.Does the Q45 have U-joint issues?

How do you check the Uppers?

It only pops or clicks while the car is changing from a stopped position to a FWD or BKWD position.

It seems to pop more while backing up.and only for a foot.

Like 1 pop or click while going from stop to FWD.and like 4 while backing up..

It might be your CV axel, does it happen when you take turns sometimes? i'd check that.

Front Right brake caliper was not as tight as it should have been.

DAEDALUS and MAXNIX were correct.

I replaced the Rotors and pad and noticed that the FR caliper was slightly loose (Not good)

Now the poping is gone!

Now that thats gone I can hear a single "Click" or "POP" in rear while starting off from a stop.

U-Joints or CV's or brakes again?
