Does anyone else notice popping or cracking noises coming from around the Bose stereo/ vents/ AC controls while driving over bumps. It is only when it is hot outside and after the interior cools off it goes away. Its annoying since I got rid of my Integra because of the ride quality and noise. I'm sure its due to the plastic expansion from the heat and my black on black configuration doesn't help. Maybe I'm just anal because I spent so ****ing much money on it.

Thanks.

Are you sure it's from the middle of the dash? I had the same problem coming from the drivers side and found out it was the dash speaker that was loose. Tightened everything up and now no more irritating sound. It may just be a loose plastic piece rubbing on something or maybe the wires are loose and you just have to tape them up or something. Good luck.

But seriously, I've had the exact same problem. The plastic piece surrounding the headunit of the bose system makes noises when the inside of the cabin becomes really hot. But since I got my tint, I haven't had to deal with it again. It was really annoying and pissed me off. But now my driver's chair kinda creaks when I lean back on it.....reallllly annoying....don't how or what they would do to fix THAT....

When I get a chance I'm going to fiddle with mine. Its doing the same thing. Most likely removing that piece and making it more secure with some adhesive etc will fix it. I'll let you all know.
