alright so my friend decided he wanted to brake into my hood and screw with everything, in the process he broke something or detached something so i can no longer pop my hood

just with my luck i left my battery died and i cant jump it because of the broken hood.

How do i pop the hood now?

i would open it by smashing your dumb friends head into it. if that dont work make him pay a shop. other than that a pry bar and flat head

mine acts the same from time to time! pull the handle, then take ur flathead and in the crease beside ur light fix it in and wedge!! if that doesnt work, do as the last guy said, prybar it up an inch, or however much it will take to fix the head of the flathead in to trip the switch

your friend sucks

you should break into his house and screw with everything there. i bet taking out all his dvds and putting them into the wrong cases would be fun. or putting all the food from the fridge into the freezer, and vise versa.

or better yet, just burn his house down and draw a smiley face in the ashes.

id go with this route...idk how your bumper set up is, pignose? chuki? do you have FMIC? but if you could jack the car high enough so you can poke your head under....take a long sturdy rod or any of the likes...locate the handle you normally pull up to open hood and just poke it up and use your other hand to lift hood and hold it (or make your friend do the poking and you lift the hood)...

my friend had to break into another guy's 240 that had his unpaid S14KA and asked me to figure out how to get in....

my pignose nostrils are cut open (venting and it looks cooler) my hand is thin enough (on a cold day) to reach in the nostril and open hood without popping the latch inside the car

worse case scenario: go to walmart and get one of those cig lighter PLUGs and jump it through that way...positive to red wire and clip the ground anywhere...let it charge up a few mins and then start her up ive done it before when i NEEDED to go to work

You may be able to trickle charge it through the lighter socket, but you're not going to crank 100A to the starter through the 25A lighter circuit.

Get a flat head, the same thing happened with mine.If that doesnt work do the best you can to break his hood, this way he knows what it feels like!

A flat end or pry bar with the ends wrapped in cloth would do the trick.

if you go under the bumper like where your horn is at. you will be able to see the latch.. there will be 2 or 3 bolts i think either 12mm or 14mm. take those bolts off and the hood should come right up then you should be able to fix it from there!. good luck

jack the car up, attach a positive lead to the fat wire attaching the starter to the battery, and the ground to a source on the engine,. this will allow your batt to take a charge, man id kick your friends @ss! if ne on emessed with my 240 like that theyll have some 7.62x39 rounds zooming at them!
