poping noise/then stalls

my friends s13 is randamly making a poping noise then stalling he says the noise is comming from the exhaust what do u guys think.

if he says the noise is coming from the exhaust, it probably is.

check the normal stuff, mafs, tps, and coolant temp sensor.

when is it stalling? and how is he running his blow off valve? is he venting or recirculating?

his bov isnt recirculating, he has an aem ems with a 3.5 bar map and intake air temp sensor.
