Poping noise from FL suspension.

Well, when ever I go over a good sized bump (whether it be a speed bump or a bump in the road) I hear a "CLUNK" noise from the front left suspension. Ive had friend stand outside to hear exactly where it was coming from and its only the FL wheel. I'm going to go to my dealer as soon as i can to try and get this solved, I will reply later with what it was.

I have the same issue, but for me I hear it when ever I am shifting from 1-2 2-3 or R-1, at first I thought it was just the brakes shifting but then it started to do it from 2-3, so IDK, just kinna lazy don't want to take it in for service.

I had a loud "clunk" whenever I took a sharp turn in either direction. On my way to the dealer to have it looked at, I discovered it was a heavy hard-cover book under the drivers' seat. Whoops.

I believe you may have a defective strut mount.

I think you have got some thing there BBISHOPPCM, strut mount totally slipped my mind. I guess Ill have to bring it in next week....

ii got the same problem and my dealer is nice enough to trace it all the way... its your bushing that is cracked... they will replace it because its under warranty... i brought this up before and i didnt get the part number...

I get a noise occasionally when I shift from park to reverse or drive on my CVT... :o/ I don't remember this on the old camel... Mine only does it when it sits for awhile.

no this is a loud clunk and you can feel it its def the suspension and not the transmission.

for kimber you just need to lube that... i brought mine in chicago nissan after i drove from CA to IL... i was hearing that squeeky noise when i shift from park to reverse and sometimes to drive...

code red i know you can feel a pop by your feet... and you can hear a clucking or popping sound on sharp turns...

The reason this had happened to me is because i run over a deep pot hole in a moderate speed 5-10 mph hahaha...

if you dont believe me... you can call nissan performance in duarte, CA they took 5 days to trace that bushing...

I have a similar problem. While parked at an angle (about halfway in a ditch), I turned and drove out and heard a loud pop. Later while making a corner, I heard the exact same sound.

Can you help us out?What bushing did they replace?Dealer had my car overnight, heard problem but tried to push me off that it was in the cabin!
