alright, it's embarassing to admit it, but i am a nub to car mods. this means no hard to comprehend abbrev. all i want on my car is a intake and im sure its obvious which one right? i have read all the pop/charger topics and know that it isn't one piece like a aem intake or something (i think) i know it comes in parts and my friend is willing to install it.

my question is can someone tell me the parts i gotta buy. i know that the z-tube is one part and the pop/charger(filter head?) is another part. what about the "heat shield?" do i need anything else that must be purchased seperatley? can someone give me sites where i can get each of these?thanks again G'ers.

If you buy the kit from everythingg35.com, it will come with *everything* you need, no pun intended. Will take you less than an hr to install.

Very, very easy install-simple hand tools only! The hardest part is putting on the foam surround for the heat shield. I took out all of my intake bellows, but you can leave it in there if you like.

I recommend you get the package deal from everything G35. As stated, it comes with everything, including a decent set of instructions:

Have fun with the install...doing the work is half the fun of mods!

Well that was easy enough...see how simple NICO makes your life!! LOL

Exactly what both Red and Joe said...extremley easy install...the hardest part is the foam on the heat shield...

Just double check with Joe at everything G35...I think the Z-tube comes seperatley....

I know how you said all you wanted was the intake...but I hope you are prepared for some serious minor modding addiction...you can't possible just stop there ....you'll see

Post pics of your toy!!

That particular kit includes the Z-tube. I think you save $10 by buying them together as a kit, versus separately.

I'm gonna be getting this stuff soon haha. Should be fun. I want wheels so bad though it's killing me. I hate these damn stocker 17's,and I traded in my car and left my damn work emotions on it.
