Both my pop up headlights just quit working, it seems like it could be an electrical issue? They stay up all the time now. I have no idea how this happened because it was working perfectly until now. Pressing the headlight switch does nothing. I pulled the switch out to check the wiring plug and it was fine. I checked the 5 AMP headlight fuse under the dash and it was fine. Is this a common problem? Any ideas on how to fix this? I have searched this forum and other 240sx forums with no luck. I can't even search the word "pop up" because each word is less than 4 characters.

did they stop working at the same time or one side at a time? if it is one side you probably have a broken headlight motor and I have something to sell to you

pop your engine bay

notice how next ot the pop up lights there are 2 things that stick out. pull off of the cover and you will expose the knob, turn it and see if goes back down eventually

The lights will go down if I turn the knob, but how does that get the head light switch on the dash to work again?

Am I the only person who has this problem?

It could be your relays under the hood. I think it was called H/L RET or something along that line.
