pop up headlights model 89-94

The headlights well not go down. If you manually turn the controller to close then push the button the headlights come up. otherwise they don't go down. This happens to both headlight. Ive replaced the motor once from another car but I still got the same results, perhaps they were bad also.. Im not sure. I also replaced the fuse but nothing is bad. any idea's... thanks guys

I have the exact same problem. I just gave up after little effort because it's really easy to do sleepy eyes. But if you really want to fix it, try testing the relays and check out the time control unit. I think that's what it's called.
