pop up headlight problem

the problem is the headlights, it can pop up, but it won't go down. i have played with the relay but still nothing change. do you guys know what's wrong with it? tahnks

Are you hitting the side button or when you turn the lights on/off?

The button just pulls right off the console with a little twisting, make sure none of the wires are cut. Did you check all the fuses? They're in the kick panel and in the engine compartment box in the very front passenger side by the battery.

If its the button, I'm gonna have to say that some wires inside are broken.

If its the light switch itself, it could be the headlight timer.

IIRC, there are four retractor relays too, I found that weird when I had some issues...

the problem with the headlight is that when I turn on the headlights it pops up and lights, no problem. when I turn it off, the lights turns off, but the headlight stays open. The button that you mentioned before is the same, the headlight pops up but won't go down. I have checked most fo the realys with a battery, and most of the fuses. thanks.

(I know I'm bringing this one back from the dead but) Anyone ever figure this out? My fuses and relays are good, but headlights won't go down, unless I do it manually. button on the dash makes them pop up, but won't make them go down.

Thud might sound crazy but check you're alternator. Myself and another member had alternators going out and new ones fixed this.

My alternator's good. I think it's the wiring or the switch.

Try cleaning the ground for the headlight motor. Thats what was wrong with mine.
