Pop up airbag

how long does it take to fix this item? it just pop up on my car, and i guess i got to go and get it repaired. grr

They have to replace the whole airbag unit. Mine came that way and it took about six weeks to get it in, back in September. When it happened again about three weeks later it took less than four weeks. Luckily, in the 14,000 miles since November it hasn't recurred. Of course, it's only now starting to get into the 80's during the day, so the glue might yet have a chance to let loose again. (The dealer does say that mine's the only one they've had to replace even once.)
