So my 300 has developed a clank noise in the front end recently. At first I thought it was the loose splash shield under the engine since it has metal edges and tapping them against the frame made the noise. It's not a hard metal on metal like worn sway bar end links. It's a lighter metallic noise. It will clank when hitting small bumps like in a parking lot and yesterday it worried me because going through a S turn when I switched from right to left in the turn, shifting vehicle weight it did the noise. I'm kinda stumped here.

It's got new tie rod ends, inner and outer. It's also got megan racing upper control arms and radius rods (or whatever they're called that hook to the frame in the front to lower control arm) and the adjusters are tight. The only joint I can't check is the pivot on the knuckle due to the suspension design and the top mount of the strut. Pushing up and down on the car does make the strut mounts move more than I think they should (looking at where the strut shaft goes through in the engine compartment)

Wondering if anyone has heard this before that could lead me in a good direction. Want to make sure it won't just break on me one day.

Check the sway bar bushings. Not the end links.
