The US imports 85% of it's steel from China...so either way you're using steel from China bro...lol. Also, I've done alot of research into what can and can't be bought for elcheapo prices on Ebay. The exhaust parts are ok, depending on the type. By that I mean, muffler type parts, straight exhaust parts and test pipes. You get into trouble when it comes to turbo's and turbo manifolds. Even the FMIC kits are pretty good, we have many many members in the 240 world using them with great success.

Rumors are one thing, but first hand experience is another..

Trust me the welds are great and the steel is nice and thick.

I have been using an SSAC (Ebay) Apexi Dual N1 Catback Knockoff ($190 Shipped) on my 240SX for the past 3 years with zero issues and not a single sport of rust.

Funny thing is the real Apexi Dual N1($600) is known to rust into nothing within two years..

My Intercooler on the 240sx is from ebay "XS power" I paid $125 shipped and it still works perfect to this day! (three years)

On the other hand, car things you don't buy on ebay.. anything with moving parts! (Turbo, BOV, ETC...)

Anyway guys I will have more reviews coming soon! I do most of my shopping on Ebay.

ebay and craigslist should always be suspect. What may look good today will fall apart in a few months. You always get what you pay for.

If you want to be assured of quality parts for your infiniti, select a Nico sponsor. Those sponsors have a very good reason to stand behind their products and make sure you are happy. ebay and craigslist have no reason whatsoever.

You'll find out when the cheaper stuff rusts out from the inside in a few months.

I'm not saying don't use a Nico sponsor, but your statement is simply wrong bro. Many companies sell products that are grossly over priced...does paying more for something that is almost identical to a cheaper item make it better? No it it doesn't.

You should research the various items before buying...always. But assuming that just because something is more expensive means it's ok is absolutely wrong. From Rom tunes down to turbo's I can give you a list of small business owners that will give you great customer service and better prices then the competition, they just don't have the money to advertise. You can also buy lots of things via Ebay...I'm speaking about NEW items, that work just as good as there far more expensive counter parts.

Buyer beware, but don't be afraid.

The light you get is the cops pulling you over to issue you a $1300 ticket.

The CEL fix is just a spark plug defouler that you can buy for $5 at most autoparts stores.. even ebay sells them for $15 each shipped.

There are write-ups all over the internet on how to do it.

$18 each is overpriced.

Most involve tools i dont have. Dremels and drills and crap. $18 would be be cheaper then buying power tools. I may check out the ebay route though.
