Poor performance and 3 codes nissan pathfinder?

I have a 97 pathfinder that started to have a miss at crusing speed and has gotten progressively worse to the point that it is hard to drive at 45MPH. I have codes 440, 446, and 1400. I know 1400 is a egr code and 446 is evap control circuit. 440 is just evap sys. It is in great shape otherwise. Just changed the timing belt and knock sensor about 2 months ago. The problem was present BEFORE I did the work. there was no noticable change in regards to the problem after idid the work. also i'm not reading any missfires on my scanner. and just today for the first time the tcc didn't lockup on the highway. any info would be great.

the codes were there before the problem, so why do you think it's related?

pull your plugs and check them. they probably need to be replaced. i'd replace the distributor cap/rotor as well.

it could also be a fuel issue, but not likely. check/replace your fuel filter.

I am unsure that the codes where there but the prob was. cap rotor,plugs wires are new
