Poor Paint Quality On Zed

I've heard that owners in the u.s have initiated a law suit against Nissan for the extremely poor quality of the paint finish on the 350Z,is this correct and what was the outcome?.As this is a world wide problem i think that we should consider something similar in the u.k.
