I have a brand new 2008 G37S (Bridgestone summer tires) as well as a 2008 M35X (Goodyear A/S). Both cars are a pleasure to drive, except on bumpy roads. Both have less than 1000 miles. While the M35 wanders and is relatively easy to bring back, the G37 is almost dangerous, needing a lot of steering input to keep it going straight. Temperatures are low at this time in NJ, so maybe the handling of the G37 would be better in the summer, but the M35's issues are rather surprising. I am taking both back to the dealer to see if they have a fix.

Couple things

First... welcome to NICO!!

I assume your tires are inflated to the correct PSI?

The G37 is wayyyy more of a drivers car then the M35. Keep that in mind! Stiffer handling etc... it is a true luxury sports car.

The tires you mentioned are a summer tire? That will make a HUGE difference in colder weather. Summer tires are made up of a different compound and "harden" in cooler temperatures which will make a difference in handling especially in cold weather.

I hope some of that helps! If you do take it to the dealer and they find a problem..please post their findings.

Good luck!

Glad I'm not alone here! I just replaced the 18" wheels on my G37 with the OEM 19" wheels and Bridgestone tires. For the first few days, the car drove GREAT. Then, a few days ago, I noticed the car seemed harder to control over rough roads and required alot more corrections to keep on track. Being one of the world's least mechanical people, I figured I had done something wrong in the course of my first wheel installation

What puzzled me the most was why it took several days for the ride to deteriorate. Then I realized that the temp outside was in the 60's when I put the wheels on a couple of weeks ago and has now dropped into the 30's. I guess maybe they called these things "summer tires" for a reason! I'm just glad to get some validation here! Of course, as my luck usually runs, all it takes is for me to put summer tires on my car and within two weeks the temperature drops from 60 degrees to a forecasted 10 degrees tomorrow....in Alabama...go figure!

That is funny. I am running Nitto NT555's on my 35 without any issues, and it has been pretty cold here. Tonight it was 19 when I got home and the car handled fine. I was even taking the off ramps and near warm weather speeds.

Maybe it is something w/ the Bridgestones?
