I just recently picked up my 240, and the Blitz BOV really isn't functioning very well.

Despite blitz claims to it being one of the loudest ones on the market, it is barely audible and sometimes with low boost it doesn't even open. (Though you can hear the compressor surging.)

I tried adjusting it, but it didn't seem to make a difference from going all the way tight to all the way loose or anything in between.

It has vacuum, though I do question the goofy swivel fitting that blitz uses?

I don't think I have a boost leak, I hit 7psi with out a problem and idle at about 18kg.

The only thing I have found is that blitz sells two springs, one for low boost and the other for high. Is it possible I have the wrong spring for such a low setting?

The blitz BOV's have a reputation for being pieces of crap and not working like they should. Before you spend money on a spring make sure it isn't something else that is at fault. Try putting a little sewing machine oil inside where the piston moves, it may be stuck.

lol, good to know.

That would just be placing it inside the BOV mouth itself, correct? I don't have to remove the upper portion of the BOV where there is a gasket and whatnot.

I have the same problem with my POS blitz blow of valve, If the car sites for a long period of time ( like 2 weeks or more) then i have to take the BOV apart and put some lube around the brass piston inside, If I were you i would take it apart and do the same, it only takes like 10mins to do, but i would definately think this is your problem.
