Poor FM reception issue in NAV 2nd gen known issue?

Hi,

I have 2016 Rogue SV with NAV. My FM reception is poor, it works but I get static in the background when I don't in other vehicles. When I brought it in, they said everything is fine and insinuated that it's all in my head. I brought the car for a different issue and got a Rogue without NAV as a loaner. The reception in this car was significantly better.

I was very upset and spoke to the service manager. He stated that the NAV unit has poor FM reception and it's a known issue to Nissan but there is no ETA on a fix, so there's nothing he can do about it. He was unable to produce any documentation about this, but he recommended to call nissan. Has anyone else heard of this? Is he just BS'ing me to avoid fixing the issue?

I can also attest to poor FM reception in my 2015 Rogue SL. It never sounded as good as in my old Highlander in the same areas I drive in. But I've stuck to SXM for the last 18 months so I haven't been bothered too much by it.
