Post

hi there.yes it's my first post.yes i read the *read this or die a painful death* thread.yes i used the search function.

BUT...it wont help me i guess.

i have severall questions for you guys, and i hope you can help me.why i post this in the drift forum?well, if you are patient enough to read my whole post, you'll understand.

{skip-able}a little story about me.i'm a guy living in europe, more precisely in austria.(no kangaroos... schwarzenegger, mozart, hitler)

it's a nice country, no doubt about that.we have roads so pretty you could cry.and traffic is low.our speed limits are high, and speed traps are few.

sounds good?ya, but all that isn't worth **** if you can't get any decent rides, tuning is strictly forbidden and fuel costs 6,50 $ a gallon.

so, that was a little introduction.now on to the questions.{/skip-able}

present day i'm in syracuse NY.on a business trip for 3 freakin months.

and i like it that much, that i realy think about moving here.now the first question (seriously):

1) is it true that you can get a skyline (r32 gts-t, r32 gt-r, r33 gts-t, r33 gtr) LEGALY on the road?

if so:1a) what do i have to do with it once it is imported.

if not:1b) is there a state in the us where i can drive imported skylines legaly?

ok,next question:

2) are there any raceways near syracuse where you can go drifting?

if not:

2b) are there any other possibilities for drifting around here???(auto-x, old industry plants what so ever... if hardly legal pm plz *lol* )

so, i hope i didn't make myself unpopular with the first post in here, and i hope even more that i get good feedback from you guys.

stay sideways ^^

What about MotoRex? From what their website says they can Import Skylines. http://motorex.net/skyline.htmlIf I'm wrong I apologize, but I'm pretty sure that I'm not.

first motorx is closed and the owner is serving 20 years in jail, for numerous things. one of them is bringing in skylines illegal. So a big no for that question. and all the other company's are on the chopping block.

Drift events happen at englishtown NJ, there is autocross at giants stadium

Drifting on the street isn't a good idea if you want to lose your liscense for about 2 years if you get caught. Do it legal.

don't worry, i'm working on finding tracks / events what ever.but it seems pretty hard here around syracuse.

i posted something in the local thread, but no feedback at all.

the only thing i found so far,are an autoX schedule (not drifting but fun too)and OSWEGO speedway.it has an tarmac infield.so great drift-fun-potential.

but noone knows anything.
