When I picked up my Phantom White Rogue SL many weeks ago I noticed on the spot the swirl marks. As many of you know this comes from poor washing/drying materials and techniques.

Today I used my new Flex Polisher on the Rogue. I just wanted to lessen the level of the swirls, there are still several light maring of the clear coat, but it is much better. It took me about 3 hours to wash, polish and wax her.

I will take some pics and post them tomorrow.

Did anyone else have the issue of the Dealership swirling the finish?

Sorry for the poor pic, but I as we all know phone cams are not the best. The rain has begun in the Pac NW so it will be months before I will haev some nice sunny weather to show the shine. When the rain stops I will polish and wax again and post pics.

Nice. Looks like mine except I added the chrome door handles so I'd look like mine was 2010 , I also have the sunroof.

Mine was not very prepped at delivery either. I have some type of adhesive in the channels that run along the hood to the front bumper. I think it's from the plastic sheeting they put on to protect the paint during transport. Gotta figure out something to get that off without hurting the paint.

one of my previous cars was an Acura in Pearl White (actually 2 of them) that had the adheasive issue. White tends to be bad for it since it collects dirt and turns black/brown. Everytime I was in for oil change etc I pointed the areas out to them.

Mine also has the moonroof and the crome grill. Love the moonroof - I love the 1 touch.

Couldn't tell if you had SR or not, I have the chrome grill too. I like the one-touch as well, just wish ALL the window was like this, spoiled with my Lex and Infiniti I guess. Chrome looks really good on the Phantom white.

Yeah I couldn't even see the adhesive until it got really dirty. I actually thought it was a paint flaw until I saw I could scrub it off. Once the rain moves East I'll get it off I guess.

Claybar or Goo Gone will work to remove the glue.
