Actually a lot of them (maybe most?) do. They're buying votes through intense lobbying, gifts and campaign contributions resulting in tax breaks, subsidies, huge tax loopholes and stifling competition.

Howie, might I suggest to you that you need to hold all politicians in a state of contempt, stop perpetuating this cheerleading politics for one political group and look to your ‘heroes’ elsewhere?
