Good afternoon I have a quick question for you experts. I replaced all bushing on the 93 300 TT with polyurethane bushings and they are starting to make some noise as I was told they would. I heard that a moly based motorcycle chain lube might be a good fix what is your opinion on this. I do not want to take everything apart and re-grease the bushings. Thanks for the help guys!!!!!!

Unfortunately, unless they were liberally greased at assembly, they'll probably need to come apart.

The black ones are graphite-impregnated and should be more resistant to squeaking, but for some reason people think the red ones are somehow "better."

A spray lubricant is unable to penetrate between the bushing and shell. The proper lube for those is the stuff that comes with the bushings.

Okay thank you.....I'm going to try the moly chain lube as it has penetrating properties to get inside the chain links but hardens later with the moly.

Good luck. I can tell you that chain links have MILES of space between them compared to the fit of a pressed poly bushing in a shell.

The instructions state they should be lubed at assembly for a reason.

Do what you want, but you're really just making an expensive sticky mess that'll have to be cleaned off when you disassemble the bushings later. :(

I may just deal with the creaking noise....I definitely dont want to take everything apart just to add more grease.....I put a ton on at install too
