Ever since I put poly end link bushings on, I get a horrible creak sound when I turn the steering wheel from lock-to-lock. So far Ive tried lubing the bushings up with bearing grease, which stopped the creaking for about 3 weeks, then returned. I've also tried silicone spray, which worked for about 1 week and also wd-40, which lasted for about 2 days.Anyone else run into this problem? Should I need to try a different type of lube.....like maybe a lithium grease, or something that is waterproof? Thanks for any help

i actually used lithium on mine and have had them on for about 3 weeks. Not a problem. did you clean the parts before you installed your bushings? I know that this step is often forgotten and usually adds to noises and creaks.

I honstly can't remember if I cleaned the surfaces or not.......it's been a couple of years, but the car was off the road 1 year....and I kinda forgot how annoying it is.I'll try pulling everything apart and clean, and lube with lithium...Weird thing is I had Addco polys on there for several years before, and the creaking didn't start until I put the energy suspension bushings on there
