Right now, i have some goofy end link rigged up in the rear (its pretty bad, but i was kinda deperate and forgot about it)... I am thinking about buying some poly bushings..

What im not sure about is what the poly frame bushings are supposed to do?? Are they just supposed to hold the sway bar tighter???

I was thinking about trying to run poly in the rear (because thats what needs it most) and then trying the poly in the front later if I want (which i may just get new rubber bushings)..

Where did you get a 28mm rear bar? Your sig says 24mm. Did you get a new one?

He also would have (or certainly does have in the rain) terminal oversteer anywhere over 7/10ths.

No bushings hold the bar tighter, they should have some lube between the bar and bushing anyhow, I've always used Teflon tape. Poly bushings are stiffer than rubber ones, so they'll just flex less, the D brackets hold the bar and that's all they do. No amount of tightening them will make the car handle differently either, but adjusting where on the bar the endlinks mount as on some bars will make it stiffer or softer, and the length of the endlinks can make a difference too. You should talk to this guy at Saner Performance Fabrication, they can make just about anything you want for your sway bar needs, including the bar itself. I dealt with him a number of years back and bought some stuff from him.

Did you get a full Energy Suspension kit for the car? I was actually wondering if they make one for the Q's the other day.

Because a front 29mm bar with 12" right angle arms, is exactly [give or take a few %] the same stiffness as a 24mm rear bar with 6" right angle arms. Assumming the end links and bushings are the same stiffness.

If the front bar was 28mm, the rear 24mm would actually be 10% stiffer than the front.Be very very careful in using rear poly with a 24 mm bar.

Lowing springs would make such a set up even worse in oversteer after the 1.5-2" rear body roll.

The 20mm rear bar ~~= 40 lb/in while the solid 24 mm ~~= 95 lb/in as coupled to the wheels.

By using rubber on the rear 24 mm you allow the chassis to roll +- 1/2inch before the bars exterts forces, bring it more in line with front rubber on front bar.

All the Z32 stuff works. I have poly LCA and tension rod bushings on mine. THey work pretty good - no different from stock. One of these days I'm doing the swaybar bushings & endlinks but I'm lazy.

As Kevin says make sure you lube 'em or be ready for squeaks.
