The 6mt sedans and coupes I have driven are pretty much the same beast, just less trunk and backseat room in the coupe.
With similar equipment the coupe is about $3,500 more at invoice that the sedan - so the sedan is very much a better bargain if you are buying.
Depending on where you live and the number of Infiniti dealers it can be a lot easier to get a deal on a sedan than a coupe - the coupe has no competition from Acura, Lexus, etc. The only RWD luxury/performance coupe in the same range is the BMW 3 series and even with the inflated G coupe prices the BMW is still more money. The sedan has a lot more competition for the buyer's dollar so is more aggressively prices by Infiniti and often by the dealers.
The manual/auto is a no brainer to me - a manual is the only way to go, but I don't face a long, slow, stop and go commute each day. If I did, I may have had to settle for a auto. 6mt coupes and for sure sedans can be a lot harder to find than autos, so again deals on autos can be easier to get and you can likely find your first choice of options/colors a lot easier.
If you are leasing, it is about a toss up. The higher residual of the coupe offsets most of the extra cost of the coupe (at invoice) so lease payments are similar.
Insurance is more for the coupe, but for more mature drivers with clean records this should not be that much different.
The resale value on the coupe will always be stronger than the same equipment/miles on a sedan. So down the road when you sell/trade a coupe you will get more money. Enough to offset the extra you paid when new? Maybe not, but a lot of it will come back.
The sedan is far more a bargain for what you get than a sedan, similar performance with more room. The coupe is sportier looking to most.
Everyone should get what they want and afford, but should understand the pros and cons of each model.
