My car has GP Sports GR-6 coilovers, but they are too stiff. They come equipped with camber plates and pillow ball mounts. $1600 so they're not the most expensive on the market.9kg front, 7kg rear

Next set will be the popular JICFLT-A2 with similar camber plate, pillow ball set7kg front, 5 kg rear$1850 retail(JIC will build a setting to your liking, for a fee)

tanabe because F8kg R6kg and the price isn't bad. I like tanabe because they are well known in the honda world. At least back in the mid 90's

I have 7kg/mm front and 5 kg/mm rear on my k-sports, I think combining softer springs with thicker antiroll bars would give you the same handling results and better road manners.

next set will be tanabe dd or gr6 with rock springs and camber bracket. woot.

or.. ohlins?

smithsr, from what i have seen regarding the US branch of JIC, i would stay clear and far away from buying thoes coilovers.

Chmercer,

No you haven't called JIC and talked to Randy and had him explain wholesale pricing and buying structure.

JIC can add the Z32 rear fork(if you use Z32 rear spindle for Z32 rear brake job) in place of the S chassis so there is one more reason to check them out. The Z32 fork is not available in the US for distribution. JIC will air freight them from Japan. No more guesswork.

My military friend has had the JIC FLT-A2 for..ohhh... one year now, no problems, no hassle, and we know who to call if / when we have a problem.

The problem with the other thread you read is that Bostons13 obviously knew who to call, he even said so. Looks more like he had an axe to grind, publicly, more than he was upset at his suspension performance. Everybody used to say TEIN would rust and they are terrible. Truth is they are too affordable to ignore. Whatever shortcomings I do encounter with JIC, will be a good learning experience and can be posted here for documentation.

So next set will be JIC FLT-A2.

I haven't decided what coilovers to buy yet. Currently I have Tanabe grip feeling springs with the stock struts. I'm thinking about Apex'i coilovers but I don't know enough about them yet.

I have Megan Racing coilovers. Great quality for a low price. 32 way adjustible. Come with front camber plates and pillowball mounts!! They are around $900, which is almost half of some of the others and these have more features. Underground motorsports, an advertiser here, sells them!

this was off ebay right? what are your reasons for hating this coilover? can you point out a few, like ride comfort and stuff.
