Without compromising weight, I would find a way to get more than 100 hp / liter from the V6, somewhere around 360-370 hp N/A. This means better exhaust, intake manifolds, rods, plenums, camshafts, crankshaft, flywheel, headers... everything to get more than the magical 100hp/liter.
Get it a little bit lower and wider with added suspension and tires.
Ditch the plastick-y interior for some alcantara or even the beautifully stitched leather you can see in the current Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
Finally, I would make it at least an option for a better quality stereo, such as the Jaguar XF's Bowers & Wilkinson $4000 stereo system. It's exquisite.
Throw in a factory 1.5 LSD and shorter gearing for better acceleration.
I would get rid of the rear wiper, use the HR's engine hood (with the "power bulge").
If money permitting, I would replace ALL metal & aluminium parts with carbon fibre... and not "cheap" carbon fibre (like a hood that costs $600), but the stuff they ACTUALLY use on F1 and other race cars, thus getting the car lighter by at least 100 kg (220 lbs).
Finally, I would put a big brake kit on the car. Most won't need it, but with the added power and loss of weight, it would be useful. Especially to those who plan on tracking the car... it would do a lot of good to have it stock with a BBK.
So... that's my 350z.
P.S. No turbos or superchargers. That gets you in another racing class in some cases, into engine problems in others, and it's something that is not needed in 90% of the cases. For street or track, the standard 350z is more than capable. After mastering it on a track, with no problems whatsoever, can you finally say "more power".
