There's a recent thread by ShineAuto on Impul kit and I was just wondering how many folks are interested in getting an aero parts for their G50 Q45. I thought it would be easier to look at the numbers this way so I'm opening this poll

I wouldn't mind a G50 Impul kit, just w/o the trunk/roof spoilers.(What I voted for)

(Actually I'd prefer the Impul kit in my sig, but I have yet to find a way to import a Nissan President Front-end in good condition from Japan. )

Personally i think that the Q looks perfect with just some tint and some nice wheels.....

I wouldnt put any of them on my current Q, but i really like the JP and id really like to have a black Q with some chrome monoblock wheels.....

Quit trashing up this thread!

I vote for the Impul kit for the 94, less the rear spoiler. I would be willing to trade a nice 1994Q for the kit if you throw in the driving lights (Layla).

What-ever Wes! That's why you have bungied your airbox. Your car would look so good with the Implul kit! I'll let you see mine when it's done and painted.

Come on guys, lets get some purchasing going on here. Lets get these kits on our cars!!! Thanks to those who have already done so..... Ignore Wes and go for it!! These kits are GOLD!!

I think the Impul Kit for the 90-93 would actually make me like my Q better than any 94+ out there. How can I get one? And how broke will it make me?

I'm kinda with Wess on this one. I try to justify spending big bucks on an almost "worthless" automobile by buying things that are very necessary or offer a big functional improvement.

For me, a kit has no function and will add weight to the car... many also look silly... not that this one does looking at the nice pretty pics, but once you put it on your car, it just might. Reality is a *****. Most will probably require an entire paint job to look right since these are not new cars we're dealing with. Next we'll be having a group buy on purple under-car neon lights to go with the kit.

Overall they serve no real purpose and are therefore not worth the big $$$ you surely will pay. Just another thing to worry about breaking when you pull into parking spaces or travel on rough roads.

If you can think of ways to make my car lighter, I'm all ears. Right now my exhaust is leaking (this car grew up in NY so the salt took it's toll underneath)... I've been made to understand that aftermarket exhausts can be much lighter.... So...there's the need...and the benefit.

But thats just me... Have at it if that's what you like. I am quite resilient and flame resistant so don't bother wasting your time blazing me up....

I agree. Would I like to have one? Sure. Would I want to spend $1500 (what the last one I saw on eBay go for), plus another 1500 for shipping, painting, and installing? No way. I'm a big fan of spending money for things that make the car go faster and / or handle better. Anything outside of that is useless to me. Just personal opinion. You want to organize a group buy, lets see if Eibach will make a new batch of springs for the 90-96 cars. How many orders you think we'd need? Hell, maybe I'll call 'em. Anybody in (besides me)?

Man I LOVE the way the impul kit looks. I’ve always said so in past discussions. I do however agree with the guys about it being a VERY pricey item that will require a lot more spending than one might be willing to take on.

Now if FOOSE would be willing to do an “OVERHAULIN” job on my Q and bring it up to 400+ horsepower, a brand new interior including a double deck Pioneer AVIC-D1 with “navtraffic” + serious/quality amp power “dynamat xtreme” all over , and a brand new paint job then I would definitely be into the “inpul” outfit. But without all the extra horses and frame off paintjob +…… I don’t think it’s a very smart thing for me to do. I do love the way it looks though.D.

Until these "JDM" bodykit companies pull their collective heads outta their collective a$$ses and realize that NO ONE with a lick of sense is gonna drop $3-6K on a bodykit for a car that's worth $3-$8K no matter HOW good it looks.

They need to take a hint from the 240sx crowd. Some of the nicest kits for the 240 run under $1K.

And before someone says it, NO, you don't "get what you pay for" when it comes to bodykits. I have the proof sitting in my garage....

"Expense vs. resale" isnt really an issue for Q owners. Its money going into -what-.

i got the 90 93 impul kit, less the stupid grille, off ebay last month so i voted for it again. im just waiting to get money to paint it its gonna look hot! my car is pearl. im thinking of doing the whole kit pearl and putting the 9496 chrome door strips on, what do ya think. complimented by big chrome rims and jic magic coilovers. im currently making a rear window spoiler out of secret stuff. if it comes out good ill post how i made it. its not to hard and kinda embarassing but it should look cool. if it sucks ill post a pic of it burning to see if you can guess what its made out of. any body seen any nice/classy looking spoilers for our cars. stock is ok imul is ok. my ideal wing is: looking at the impul pic from the front, a wing that hugs the outer quarter, but from the rear has about a one inch space between the trunk lid. ive tried the maxima spoiler and the camery but it just looks like a toyota spoiler on a Q. not cool man not cool.

Have you tried the Honda Accord or Prelude spoiler?

I have seen the I30t spoiler (like the one below) on a G50 and it looked OK. It was on the same car that had the Impul kit, even. I think it was from Australia.
